Are you planning to hold a workshop on a socio-legal topic in the year 2024? Consider coming to Oñati in the heart of the Basque Country!

The International Institute of the Sociology of Law hosts more than a dozen of workshops, conferences and seminars each year, which take place in a unique atmosphere.

The ancient university and the old residence building nearby provide a magic space that is animated by students and scholars from all over the world. This allows for close encounters and intense exchange, which is facilitated by the local staff, in the midst of a great cultural and natural environment. Be inspired…

While you need to bring your own funding for these workshops, we offer organisational support and very affordable prices for your stay at the premises of the IISL, and we provide preferential publication avenues for the outcomes of your workshop and collaborative research.

As we are looking for an interesting mix of groups and topics from different corners of the socio-legal field, even unconventional proposals may have very good chances to get accepted.
