Sociology of Law in the World

This Blog should replace in the near future the currently existing website of the Research Committee on Sociology of Law of the International Sociological Association ( http://rcsl.iscte.pt/ ).

It would inform on a regular basis about the activities of this Research Committee, in particular its annual meetings and the awarding of the Adam Podgòrecki Prize (which is awarded yearly, recognizing the work of an outstanding researcher in Sociology of Law). It aims at offering to RCSL Members, as well as to everybody interested in the Sociology of Law, useful tools, such as information about the activities of the International Institute for the Sociology of Law, closely linked to the RCSL, and about other meetings in its field of specialty, as well as a list of relevant internet links and a structured archive of documents produced throughout the history of RCSL (in particular the RCSL Newsletter).
