V ISA Forum Registration Grants – Call for Applications

Preparing the V ISA Forum of Sociology, ISA offers grants covering the registration costs. Research Committees are in charge of organizing the allocation of these grants. This is why RCSL opens the present call for applications:

RCSL Members who also are ISA members, and who are active participants in the V ISA Forum (see on this website the provisional complete programme of the RCSL Sessions at this ISA Forum), are invited to send their application for an ISA Registration Grant to pierre.guibentif@iscte-iul.pt, with rcsl@iisj.es in copy, by 31 January 2025.

Applications should include a short letter of justification, and all documents necessary to prove the situation of the applicant. The final allocation of the grants will be decided by the RCSL Board, on the basis of the ordering and selection of the applications by the RCSL Rabat Programme Committee ( https://rcsl.hypotheses.org/2025-rcsl-meeting-in-rabat#ProgrammeCommittee  ). The order will be the following:

  • Students from C countries
  • Students from B countries
  • Post doc researchers from C countries (up to three years after PhD)
  • Post doc researchers from B countries (up to three years after PhD)
  • Other ISA members C countries
  • Other ISA members B countries
  • Students from A countries justifying special needs
  • Post doc researchers from A countries (up to three years after PhD) justifying special needs
  • Other ISA members A countries justifying special needs

Allocated grants will be handled by the ISA Secretariat prior to the 22 March 2025, registration deadline for presenters.
