Invitation to Virtual RCSL Conference 20/21 September 2021

Dear friends and colleagues,

We invite you to the Virtual RCSL Conference Monday 20/ Tuesday 21 September 2021

The title of the conference is

In times of pandemics and populism: increasing inequalities?

Paper proposals should deal directly with topics related to this subject. We only have about 22 slots available.

We have asked working group heads to organise virtual special working group meetings on the day after, on Wednesday 22 September 2021, for sessions on working group subjects.

The conference is organised with the Zoom technology of the University of Milan. We can accept a maximum of 300 attendants, but only 22 papers.

Paper presentation

Paper presentations can only be for 12-15 mins. Papers can be in Spanish and in English.

If you want to present a paper, please, send a title and brief abstract of about 400 to a max. of 1000 characters with blank spaces till the 12th of August 2021 the latest. We will inform about the accepted papers  till the 15th of August. If you have questions, please, contact me. You may use the form placed on this site.

Your contact person for papers in English is Barbara Giovanna Bello ( barbara.bello<at>unimi.it ), your contact person for papers in Spanish is Laura Lora ( lauranoemilora<at>derecho.uba.ar ).

The programme committee consisting of Pierre Guibentif, Luigi Cominelli, Ulrike Schultz, Barbara Bello and Laura Lora will decide till the 29th of July 2021 on the papers and communicate immediately its decision.

We will record the sessions and will try to save the presentations on YouTube. As paper presenter you have to consent to having your presentation recorded and uploaded to YouTube.

The conference is free of charge. We expect however that paper presenters are RCSL members or will become RSCL members. You find the membership form and conditions and fee regulations here.

Registration for attending the conference is possible till the 31th of August 2021 using the form placed on this site.

All the best, I hope to meet many of you virtual in our September Conference
